Hello! My devotion to the doula practice came out of my desire to support women through childbirth; the most memorable, often challenging, and always life-changing moments in life. Women’s bodies are wonderfully-made, strong, and capable. Much like running a marathon, bringing a child into the world requires endurance. This is where the metaphor breaks down: a marathon is a predictable, 26.2 miles, whereas childbirth can feel like 26.2, 2.62, or 2,620 miles. I am ready and honored to take on whatever comes with your birth. I am a DONA-trained doula and spend time as a volunteer birth doula at a local hospital. I live in Minneapolis and originally moved to the Twin Cities from Wisconsin to study public relations. When not at MBC, I can be found brunching with friends, running, or baking with FRIENDS on Netflix. I look forward to meeting you!
