Lily grew up in upstate New York and graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in History. Many of her research projects during college focused on midwifery, pregnancy, and childbirth practices from a variety of cultures and societies past and present. Since September, she has served as a Clinic Coordinator at the Minnesota Birth Center. She is passionate about the family-centered holistic model of birth care and feels grateful for the chance to support birthing people at MBC as a DONA-trained doula. She is currently taking coursework to prepare for graduate school where she plans to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. In her free time, Liliana enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, ice skating, and traveling.
