I am a DONA-trained doula based in St. Paul. Before becoming a doula, I worked in politics, electing more diverse candidates to public office and advocating for reproductive justice at all levels of government.
I believe that birth work is an integral part of the struggle for justice, and the right to choose is essential to all reproductive care. The exercise of choice – to consent, to decline, and to be fully informed – is essential for the health and well-being of women and nonbinary people, especially people of color, who are too often minimized and dehumanized in the health care system. My goal is to help you and your loved ones navigate the complexities of pregnancy and labor, make confident choices, and ensure your birth experience is safe, secure, and empowering.
When I’m not doing birth work I enjoy running, listening to podcasts, and playing with my very excitable beagle/terrier mix.
I would be honored to support you and your family through your birth journey. Let’s connect!
