My name is Emily and helping families through the birth experience is my passion! My natural gifts are empathy, compassion, stability, tenderness, and creativity. I care deeply about the experiences of all people, but especially those who’ve dealt with trauma, depression, abuse, and/or come from dysfunctional families. My professional priorities are honesty, humility, and advocacy. On my own I love to read, cook, bake, paint, draw, and work with horses. With people I love to drink tea and coffee, have quality conversations over good food, and listen intentionally to anyone who needs to talk something through. I highly value the art of listening well over giving advice, but I always like to have lots of options and ideas. I am patient and calm in stressful situations and people often comment on my encouraging and motivating personality! My faith is deeply important to me and I believe the family unit is the most important structure in society and it can be the most influential.
