Jessica Pillman, RN
Jessica, RN was born in Ecuador, South America. Growing up in Ecuador gave her a love for Spanish, travel, and other cultures. Before graduating from nursing school at Chippeawa Valley College in Eau Claire in 2010, she volunteered at a birth center in the Philippines. From her experience in the Philippines she knew that natural childbirth had a special place in her heart.
Jessica is excited to be at the Minnesota Birth Center and believes that her many life experiences have prepared her for this unique opportunity. Giving women the chance to give birth in a safe and natural way, as they were created, is one of her greatest joys. She believes this happens best in a warm nurturing environment that begins with personal relationships during early pregnancy and moves into a relationship of trust and confidence in labor and delivery. She looks forward to developing personal relationships with each of her patients.
Jessica is a person of faith, and her Christian values inspire her life and work daily. In her free time, she loves to cook, read, sew, hike, camp, and play with kids.
